Not only is Bush a LIAR of unprecedented proportions along with his bedmate Rumsfeld and Wolfie, he is a joke of man to boot. He is talking out of his rear end only, using doublespeak. While things are getting worse and going to hell in Iraq, he is trying to convince the American people that things are actually, really, really, really getting better! It really is 1994 all over again - thank you George Orwell.
So the lies keep coming and coming, the administration building their case for war and continued interference in another State's affairs by accumulation of detail and weaving it into a tapestry of lies, deception and deceipt. When will the American people stop bending over for Bush?
Rumsfeld, Cheney and Bush are men without honor, empathy, a conscious or sympathy except for thier own selfish, traitorous and dangerous agenda. They are destroying America, lock them up, try and execute them.

So THERE you are! Your e-mails are bouncing back to me! Shkspr misses you! Aloha!
Enjoyed reading your "Love in nursing" article...I too have experienced all of the above-from loathing to outright genuine giving from the spirit. I too am a RN, and work in spinal cord injury. Some of my patients are so hateful, yet others fill my being with utter joy! You have a penchant for writing, and it is enjoyable to read. Thanx, Veronica D.
Thank you Veronica, emailed you but forgot it was anonymous. If you ever see this, Thank you and good luck too. David
Hello David McCullough! Just thought I would make a few comments on your "President Bush is a Laughingstock," posting. A RN here in the town I work in just got into a lot of trouble for writing a letter to a local paper, voicing her opinion in a far less tone, than what you state. Due to the fact that she was employed by the Veterans Administration, her entire life was turned upside down. So much for freedom! The ACLU is all over this one.
Try to keep in mind that the President is a pawn for all the overpaid scoundrels, that have been so called elected into office, and represent "We, the Free People..."
In some terrible truth, are we not all pawns? We, as nurses, are seeing first hand, the results of what living a life without accountability (co-morbidities, out of control disease processes, etc.,)can yield, and we nurses, continue to play the part of attempting to be pt advocates, for what? Look at our colleagues that are supposed to represent the pillar of health. Most are obese, stressed out (all of us), smokers who are lying through their teeth every time they show up in uniform.
All I am saying is that it is far too easy to be hypocrite, but I would rather be hypocrite right here, in the country I love.
Thanx for responding to my earlier posting.
Aloha Virginia and thank you again.Good call on your recent reply - I tend to rant and rave late at night or any time of the day and yes, I am not fair. I don't just blame Bush. I don't write with a lot of insight or research based knowledge about the current administration. My only experience with the Feds is my Air Force Brat upbringing, a few years in Peace Corps (Fiji) and almost three years in Washington D.C. working with the Department of Agriculture. Still, I am far away now in time and distance.
I did hear about the RN who works for the VA - the story made the rounds up here and my unit was horrified but not surprised. If you read this again do you know of a site where we can catch up with the latest on that? Thank you.
I agree about our colleagues too and laughed as I read what you wrote. I am pretty stressed out too - hence my move to Pediatrics (I'll know more this week I think) with three patients and not five.
Yes, I often get the feeling we are fighting a losing struggle but the meaning is in the struggle, somewhere I hope. I too am a hypocrite at times but am not so sure I want to stay in America forever - with my history of living overseas off and on - it feels good to be in both places. Outside of here is less stress in some ways and more in others. I am patriotic, but not to the point of never wanting to depart these shores.
Thank you Virigina - I did not start to write this for others to read but it actually feels nice to know you read it and even talk back.
Malama pono.
David
